We took Wild Goose Morgans for our farm name because we are located near Sasakwa, Oklahoma. In the Seminole Indian language Sasakwa means Wild Geese.
We got our start in Morgans with a lovable filly named "Sugar", Nogle's Heart's Delight, that we bought from a local resident and Morgan horse breeder Harry Nogle. She was so easy to train and so lovable that we just had to have more. We strayed into the world of horse racing with an off the track Appendix (Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse cross) mare, but soon decided that we wanted to breed only Morgan horses. We added a stallion and a few mares and started raising sensible loving family members to sell. Our goal is to produce gentle and intelligent horses that anyone can handle and ride.
We bred Dixie this spring and look forward to having a new baby to spoil and show in the spring of 2003. Our 2001 baby, Aria will be started in lines for driving this summer.
We will keep adding new photos, so check back again and please sign our guestbook.
